Here are the new Limited Edition Pat McGrath Skin Fetish 003 highlighters! On the left we have Golden and the right we have Nude. These new Pat McGrath highlighters are made in Italy and were just released this past weekend in Sephora. I got the email and instantly knew I had to pick them up to see if these highlighters are just as amazing as everyone says they are. First off, these Pat McGrath Skin Fetishes retail for $72! Yes, you read that right… $72! Although, each Pat McGrath Skin Fetish does contain: 0.26 oz Shiny Stick Highlighter and Balm Duo, 0.14 oz 003 Pigment, and a buffer 003 brush. If you break these products down you are actually getting a very good deal for these Skin Fetishes. Most powder highlighters retail for $30 or higher such as Becca. Also, most cream highlighters retail for $30 or more. For example, the popular Marc Jacobs Glowstick retails for $42 at Sephora. Now lets take a look at the buffer brush. Most decent brushes are retailing for $20 or more. Therefor, this is actually a great deal because you are not only receiving three products but they are also great quality. The only cons I have to the Pat McGrath Skin Fetishes is the packaging. First off, I am not a fan of all the sequence in the bag. It is quite messy too be honest. The sequence was great to take product shots with, but for the average person I think it isn’t the best way to package the products. Second, the packaging of the product itself. I think it could be a little more sturdier and have a little more pizzazz to it. It was kind of cheap in my opinion. But other than the packaging flaws I think it is an overall great product. I will have my youtube video on this review posted down below if you want to check it out. It will be best to see the swatches there because taking photos of highlighters is not the easiest thing to do haha. Now lets get into the review and swatches of each Skin Fetish!

This is the Pat McGrath Skin Fetish 003 in Golden. Golden was the one I was most excited for! It looked absolutely gorgeous in the pictures I saw of it. I do have to say that Golden will absolutely look gorgeous on people with medium to darker skin tones, but don’t worry I think fair skin tones can rock it too! It brings the most gorgeous glow with a shift of gold iridescence to the skin. I love the iridescent finish these pigments have. I definitely do not have any highlighters in my collection that look like Golden.
Here is a swatch of the Fine Gold Pigment. I have never felt such a fine powder in a highlight before. It truly feels like you are picking up no product but the second you lift your finger/brush you see an extremely pigmented gold iridescence color. It is absolutely stunning. You can use this for so many different things, such as; eyebrow highlight, inner corner of the eye highlight, eye shadow, and on the high points of the face. A tip for the pressed pigment is to lay down the clear balm from the Shiny Stick in the place where you want to put the pigment and then put the pressed pigment on top. It helps it adhere and last longer on the skin.
Next up we have the Shiny Stick Highlighter swatch. You can see this cream highlight does not have the same iridescence that the pressed pigment has. I love the way that this cream highlight looks on the high points of my face. It brings the most natural and dewy glow to the skin. I am so excited to wear this in the summer time when I have a bit of a tan. Check out my youtube review on this. I show myself applying it and how it looks on my skin.
Here is the Pat McGrath Skin Fetish 003 in Nude. Like I said earlier in the post I was more excited for Golden, but when I went and applied Nude on my cheek bones I instantly fell in love. My favorite is the Shiny Stick in this Kit. It is absolutely gorgeous and looks amazing on fair skin tones. Nude quickly became my favorite out of the two.
Here is the swatch of the Iridescent Pink Pigment. As you can see this pigment has a very strong shift of pink in it. I loved it when I applied this on the center of my lips! It looked stunning! This would also be a great brow bone and inner corner of the eye highlight. I think it is a little too pink for a highlight on the cheeks though.
Alright so next up we have the Nude Shiny Stick highlight. This cream highlight is my favorite out of all of them. I love how natural looking this looks on the face. It brings the most gorgeous and healthy glow to the face. This is definitely my new favorite highlighter!
Overall, I think these are great highlighters for the summer time. Make sure to check out my review on these on my YouTube channel to see a closer look at the swatches of each highlight. I will have the video linked down below!
